Minister Joshi lauds 112th edition of PM Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat”

Dehradun, 28 July: Minister Ganesh Joshi on Sunday listened to the 112th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, “Mann Ki Baat”, with party workers and people of the Mussoorie assembly constituency at his camp office in Hathibarkala, here.

Joshi appreciated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the Paris Olympics, the Maths Olympiad, Tiger Day, conservation of forests and Independence Day in his Mann Ki Baat. The Prime Minister appealed to the countrymen to join the campaign to plant trees in the memory of one’s mother and addressed the people on many important topics including uploading the local products of the country on social media in the name of #My Product My Pride, to deal with drugs, and promote local products and encourage India’s players at the Paris Olympics.

Joshi claimed that crores of trees are being planted across the country by people in their mothers’ memory. People are joining the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan with enthusiasm. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that, to promote local products, the state government is taking action on providing GI tasg to local products, so that these can be promoted in the international market.

He added that, through self-help groups, women are being benefited by many welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments. Women are becoming self-reliant, as a result. Describing it as inspiring, he asked everyone to listen to the Mann Ki Baat programme.

Also present on this occasion were Dr AK Srivastava, Dr Amoly, Dr Babita Sahotra, Hemraj, Manohar Bhandari, Sushil Nainwal, Mohan Bahuguna, Pradeep Sajwan and other party workers.
