New Delhi, 7 Nov: Uttarakhand’s Sports Minister Rekha Arya met the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, in New Delhi, on Thursday. During the courtesy meeting, Arya extended her warm greetings and wished the Union Minister well.
While discussing the upcoming National Games, which will be held in Uttarakhand, Arya expressed her gratitude to the Union Minister for finalizing the schedule and planning for the event. She also invited him to visit Uttarakhand to witness the games and show his support.
In addition, Arya thanked Mansukh Mandaviya for the establishment of the Games Technical Conduct Committee (GTCC), which will oversee the technical aspects of the National Games. She further invited the Union Minister to attend the Youth Festival scheduled to be held in Dehradun.
Minister Rekha Arya expressed hope that the Union Minister would soon visit the ‘Dev Bhoomi’ and offer his guidance to help make the event a success. The meeting highlighted the close cooperation between the state and central governments in promoting sports and youth activities in Uttarakhand.
