Modern School, Delhi, wins 4th PC Batta Memorial Cricket Tournament

Dehradun, 28 Apr: The Final Match of 4th PC Batta Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament was held today at the Oval Ground of Kasiga School, here.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was DM SA Murugesan. The final was played between Modern School, Delhi, and Maa Anandmayee Memorial School. The toss was won by Modern School and it decided to bat first under the captaincy of Shrey Kaushik. It scored 143 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Maa Anandmayee Memorial School, Raiwala, was only able to score 116 runs in 19.1 overs, under the captaincy of Arpan Saharswat.
Modern School won the match by 36 runs. The Man of the Match Award went to Divij Mehra for his outstanding performance. Others present on the occasion were Ramesh Batta, Sonali Sinha, Siddharth Batta, Chandini Batta. Chandra Shekhar, Micheal James, Vasi Hassan and Javed Butt.
