Mussoorie BJP celebrates Doctors’ Day, welcomes new CMS

Mussoorie, 1 Jul: On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, a felicitation ceremony was organised today by the Bharatiya Janata Party Mandal at the Mussoorie Sub-District Hospital. On this occasion, doctors working in the hospital were felicitated. Also, the new Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr Khajan Singh Chauhan, was warmly welcomed, while former CMS Dr Yatendra Singh was bid farewell.
During the ceremony, Dr Khajan Singh Chauhan said that, with the cooperation and suggestions of the public, the health services of the hospital would be improved further. He said that as soon as he took charge, he appointed a Public Relations Officer in the hospital, so that patients and the general public do not face any kind of problem. Dr Chauhan, while specifically mentioning senior citizens, said that now they will not have to stand in line, rather doctors will examine them on priority basis. He also stated that with the cooperation of Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, Municipal Chairperson Meera Saklani, the administration along with the Health Department, the Sub-District Hospital of Mussoorie would be equipped with all the necessary health facilities. He said that through technology, treatment and facilities, patients will be better served. Appreciating the efforts of former CMS Dr Yatendra Singh, Dr Chauhan said that under his leadership the hospital has achieved many objectives in the field of health services. On this occasion, former CMS Dr Yatendra Singh said that he is still dedicated to serving the people of Mussoorie. Even after leaving the post of CMS, he will serve in the Sub-District Hospital two days a week. He added that with the cooperation of the Health Minister, extensive improvement has been made in the health facilities in the hospital. During his tenure, CT scan, ultrasound machine, and other modern equipment have been made available in the hospital, along with staff recruitment so that patients can get better treatment.
On this occasion, BJP Mandal President Rajat Agarwal wished all the doctors a Happy Doctors’ Day and urged them to provide better treatment and health facilities to the patients in the hospital. He said that every possible support will be given by the BJP Mandal in the operation of the hospital. Vijay Vindwal, Councillor Amit Bhatt, Arvind Semwal, Ujjwal Negi, Anita Dhanai, Kamala Thapliyal, Sushma Rawat, Avtar Kukreja, Anil Singh Annu, Rajesh Gupta, etc., were present on this occasion.
