DEHRADUN, 19 Jul: Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat called on folk singer Narendra Singh Negi at his residence, today, and congratulated him for winning the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018. The CM described Negi as the Pride of Uttarakhand. He highlighted the fact that the folk songs of Negi had helped propagate the culture of the region for decades. The songs also carried a significant message for society and encompassed all aspects of hill life. He wished the folk singer a long life and continued success
