New ECHS Polyclinic inaugurated at Clement Town to boost Veteran Healthcare

Dehradun, 15 Jul: In a major stride towards improving healthcare services for Ex Servicemen, Veer Naris, and their families, Major General MPS Gill, General Officer Commanding, Uttarakhand Sub Area, inaugurated the newly established ECHS Polyclinic at Clement Town Military Station, today, in the presence of Major General Naveen Mahajan, General Officer Commanding, 14 Infantry Division and Lieutenant General Sanjeev Anand (Retired), and a large number of veterans. Dedication of this Polyclinic to Tri Services Veterans reiterates the commitment of Surya Command to the welfare of veterans and their dependants. The new facility is expected to significantly enhance healthcare delivery across the region.

The inauguration of this facility reflects the Army’s unwavering resolve to support its retired personnel across the nation.

The new facility boasts advanced infrastructure, including a modern dental chair, laboratory services, an emergency retention room, physiotherapy section, a well-stocked pharmacy, and two dedicated Medical Officers. It is expected to cater to approximately 7,000 ECHS beneficiaries.

The inauguration of ECHS Polyclinic was attended by Brigadier PJ Prabhakaran, Station Commander, Clement Town, Brigadier Parikshit Singh, Commandant, MH Dehradun, Major General Mohan Aswal (Retd), Colonel Amit Pandiya (Retd), serving officers, a large gathering of veterans, Veer Naris, and their families, who had been eagerly awaiting the opening of ECHS Polyclinic at Clement Town.
