Newly elected Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal meets Vidhan Sabha Speaker

Dehradun, 28 Nov: Asha Nautiyal, the newly elected MLA from the Kedarnath constituency, paid a courtesy visit on the Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, at her official residence in Yamuna Colony, here, today.

On this important occasion, the Speaker extended heartfelt congratulations to Asha Nautiyal for her remarkable victory in the by-election and wished her the best for her upcoming term in office.

The Speaker expressed full confidence in Asha Nautiyal’s leadership and dedication, stating that she is certain that the MLA will work hard for the overall development of the Kedarnath constituency and leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the aspirations of her constituents.

Speaker Bhushan further stated that this victory is not only a personal achievement for Asha Nautiyal but also a symbol of strengthening women’s representation in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. She expressed her happiness about the growing contribution of women in the legislative house, calling it a triumph of maternal power. The Speaker emphasised that this is the time to acknowledge women’s strength and leadership, and Asha Nautiyal’s election proves it. She expressed confidence that Asha Nautiyal would make remarkable contributions to the development of her region with her strength, wisdom, and leadership abilities.
