Dehradun, 3 Sep: BJP national president Nitin Nabin will be on a two-day visit to Uttarakhand where he will address the state working committee, office-bearers and core committee meetings, along with ex-servicemen and Sikh conferences. According to party sources, Nabin will arrive in the state on 9 September. His visit is being seen as crucial in shaping the party’s electoral strategy for 2027. State party president and Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Bhatt claimed that the national president’s guidance will play a decisive role in preparing the strategy for securing a third consecutive victory in the assembly elections.

State media in-charge Manveer Chauhan also informed that on 9 September, the state working committee meeting will be held in Haldwani, where Nabin will participate at Hotel Vintage Green on Rampur Road. Later that evening, he will chair a meeting of state office-bearers to provide directions on organisational programmes and electoral planning. On 10 September, he will preside over an important meeting related to the Seva Sankalp campaign being organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. He will then address the state core committee, offering key guidance on election strategy, followed by his participation in the ex-servicemen conference and the Sikh Gaurav Sammelan.

Bhatt said it is a matter of pride for the state unit to receive direct guidance from the national president at a time when the party is moving decisively towards the upcoming assembly elections. He emphasised that continuous meetings are being held to finalise the electoral strategy, and the presence of the top leadership will boost morale and ensure precision in planning. He expressed confidence that the national president’s guidance will provide a clear direction to the strategy based on the achievements of the double-engine government, paving the way for a hat-trick of victories in 2027.
