Mussoorie, 26 Apr: Oak Grove School bid farewell to its grade 12 students. The students prepared for the event 2-3 days in advance. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Principal Abhishek Kesarwani.
The boys and girls walked down the red carpet escorted by their immediate juniors. In their elegant saris, the girls were hard to recognise. The Class-XI students had prepared titles for all their seniors. All the teachers were present to make the evening extra special for the boys and girls of Class-XII.
The highlight of the function was the cultural presentation.
The event began with a casual conversation between the students of grade 11, during which they recounted the memorable moments of hostel life with their juniors. This was followed by different games for students of Class-XII. The students of the passing out batch were given fancy titles prepared by their juniors and presented mementos as well. The students of grade-11 screened short movies showcasing pictures and videos on the life of the passing out batch.
Principal Abhishek Kesarwani wished good luck to the outgoing students and said that anything could be achieved through sincere hard work and dedication. He added that students should inculcate moral values amongst themselves and be good citizens and human beings. They must always respect women.
