DEHRADUN, 10 Oct: To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, The Himalayan Public School organised a cleanliness drive followed by a Quiz competition and Poster making Competition from 1 to 7 October. The students of The Himalayan Public School embarked on a cleanliness drive mission with the event ‘Swachhta ke liye Gandhiji’ to commemorate the 150th birthday of the Father of the Nation.The students actively participated in the campaign by carrying banners and placards with cleanliness slogans and quotes making a noticeable statement on cleanliness and environment protection. School Chairman Dr Aditya Arya, Secretary Archita Chaudhary and Principal Dr Ena Banerjee congratulated the winners of various competitions and encouraged the students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of learnt concepts.
