DEHRADUN, 24 Sept: State media in-charge of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress, Rajiv Mehrishi has taken a dig at the State Urban Development Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal.
He considers this matter not only very serious but also a violation of the oath of misconduct and the Constitution. The tour of the Minister and accompanying delegation was sponsored by German company GIZ. The BJP government, claiming transparency and purity, has come under serious questioning for this case. Mehrishi said that a project of Solid Waste Management has been stuck in Roorkee for almost seven years. This project was to be built with the technology of Germany. Perhaps this is the same German company that sponsored Aggarwal’s and the group’s visit. There are allegations of scam in 74 transfers in the Urban Development Department before going on a foreign tour. Mehrishi said that CM Pushkar Singh Dhami himself should take the initiative and call for the suspension of his minister.
