Dehradun, 25 Jun: Reinforcing its commitment to preventive healthcare and early disease detection, RG Hospitals successfully concluded its two-day Mega Health Check-Up Camp held on 19 and 20 June at its Dehradun facility. The initiative witnessed an encouraging response from the community, with more than 200 patients registering and availing specialist consultations and diagnostic screenings during the camp.

The health camp was organised to raise awareness about the growing incidence of conditions such as kidney stones, kidney diseases, enlarged prostate, fibroids, ovarian cysts, hernia, gallbladder stones, and piles, many of which often remain undiagnosed until they begin affecting an individual’s quality of life. Through specialist consultations and diagnostic evaluations, the camp aimed to encourage timely medical intervention and promote a preventive approach towards health management.

Participants benefited from consultations and screenings conducted by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including Dr Nitish Dev, Consultant – Urology, Andrology & Renal Transplant; Dr Ajay Kumar Gupta, Consultant – General & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery; Dr Manoj Gupta, Consultant – Urology; Dr Tejasvi Mathur, Consultant – Medicine; Dr Ravina Solanki, Consultant – Radiology; Dr. Vandana Aggarwal Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Dr Bhavin Brahmbhatt, Consultant – Nephrology & Renal Transplant. The camp also provided access to essential diagnostic investigations such as ultrasound screening, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Liver Function Test (LFT), Kidney Function Test (KFT), uroflowmetry for men, and Pap smear testing for women based on medical advice.

Commenting on the successful completion of the camp, Avinash Ojha, Managing Director & CEO, RG Hospitals, said, “The overwhelming response to this initiative reflects a growing awareness among people about the importance of preventive healthcare and early diagnosis. Many serious health conditions can be effectively managed when identified at the right time, yet a large number of patients continue to delay consultations until symptoms become severe. Through this camp, our objective was to bring specialist care and essential diagnostics closer to the community and encourage individuals to prioritize their health. We are pleased to have reached and consulted more than 200 patients and remain committed to creating greater awareness around timely screening and preventive care.”
