Dehradun, 22 Jan: Principal Secretary to CM RK Sudhanshu held a review meeting with the nodal officers appointed by the government for the successful organisation of the 38th National Games, here today. The games are scheduled from 28 January to 14 February 2025. Several officers also joined the meeting virtually. All nodal officers actively participated and discussed the updated status of various works in detail.
The main objective of the meeting was to assess the preparations for the National Games and ensure that all tasks are completed within the stipulated time frame. The progress of preparations for sports venues, accommodation, catering, transportation, security, and other related arrangements was thoroughly evaluated.
Special discussions were held to make the opening ceremony grand and memorable. The list of guests, seating arrangements, and other necessary preparations were considered. Detailed plans were also made to keep the transport system smooth and well-organised.
During the meeting, the nodal officers presented important issues and challenges related to the event. These were discussed in detail, and immediate solutions were provided.
Special Principal Secretary and senior IPS officer Amit Sinha, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Secretary PWD Pankaj Pandey, Secretaries Ranjit Sinha, and Vinay Shankar Pandey. Director Sports, District Magistrate Dehradun, SSP Dehradun, and other related officers were among those present at the meeting.
