Dehradun, 21 Aug: The salaries of 18000 plus UPNL employees working in various departments of Uttarakhand Government have been increased by 20%.
The UPNL Employees are divided into different categories i.e. unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, highly skilled and officers. The increase ranges in the entitled emoluments from Rs 1975 for unskilled to Rs 5935 for officers, approximately.
MD, UPNL, Brig PPS Pahwa (Retd) has thanked Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi and Secretary Amit Negi, Finance, for this hike. He added that UPNL employees are working with total dedication and are the backbone of all the departments.
