Dehradun, 6 August: Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan held a review meeting with the officials of the Assembly regarding preparations for the monsoon session to be held in Gairsain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand, at the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, here, today.
Ritu Khanduri directed the officials to ensure all the necessary facilities are in place keeping in mind the monsoon session. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring facilities like electricity, water, medical, phone and internet network. She said that, during the session, ministers, MLAs, journalists and officers-employees should not face any kind of inconvenience.
The Speaker also directed the officials to complete all the preparations in a timely manner and ensure all necessary arrangements to deal with any emergency. The Speaker directed the officials to pay special attention to the smooth conduct of the session and work in coordination with all the departments concerned.
