Mussoorie, 4 Aug: The 53rd edition of the prestigious St George’s College Heritage Cup (Jackie) Invitational Football Tournament 2026 continued with great enthusiasm and sporting fervour at St George’s College, Mussoorie, today. The tournament, being held from 1 to 14 August, has brought together 24 leading football teams from renowned schools and clubs across the region, reaffirming its rich legacy of promoting excellence in football and fostering the spirit of sportsmanship among young athletes.
The results of today’s matches were as follows:
In the opening match of the day, Navchetan Sports Club and Khetwala Sports Club played out an exciting 3–3 draw.
For Navchetan Sports Club, the goals were scored by Manveer in the 22nd minute, Manoj Thapa in the 27th minute, while the third goal came through an own goal by a Khetwala Sports Club player in the 42nd minute.
For Khetwala Sports Club, the goals were scored by Aman in the 13th minute, Suraj in the 53rd minute, and Sumit in the 65th minute.
In the second match, Mussoorie United Sports Club defeated Blu Football Club by 3–2.
For Mussoorie United Sports Club, the goals were scored by Soman in the 15th minute, Abhishek in the 28th minute, and Sahil Sonkar in the 71st minute.
For Blu Football Club, the goals were scored by Cherry in the 5th minute and Lucky in the 8th minute.
In the third match, St George’s College (B Team) registered a commanding 5–1 victory over Oak Grove School.
For St George’s College (B Team), Ansh delivered a remarkable hat-trick with goals in the 5th, 11th, and 51st minutes, while Siddhant scored in the 6th minute and Sanidhya added another in the 8th minute.
For Oak Grove School, the lone goal was scored by Anuraag in the 38th minute.
In the fourth and final match of the day, St George’s College (A Team) defeated Wynberg Allen School (B Team) by 2–0.
For St George’s College (A Team), the goals were scored by Bhavishya Rana in the 16th minute and Md Hassan in the 34th minute.
The matches were officiated by a panel of referees comprising Pushkar Singh Gusain, Pradeep Negi, Prashant Rawat, Milan, and Anish Chhetri.
