Dehradun, 12 Apr: Swami Chidanand Saraswati met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, here, today. He appreciated that CM Dhami is a youthful leader constantly striving for the welfare of Devbhoomi. The Swami gifted him an audio visual Srimad Bhagavad Gita so that he could listen and reflect on its teachings any time in the day, even whilst travelling.
Emphasising the teaching of the Gita, “Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam”, the Swami emphasised on the need to reflect on the science of Karma Yoga.
The two discussed a sustainable, clean, green and serene development of Uttarakhand. The Swami also shared with the CM the plan, ahead of the monsoon season, to plant 1.5 lakh plants along the Rispana and Bindal catchment areas in partnership with HDFC Bank. The Swami also invited him to Parmarth Niketan again for the world renowned Ganga Aarti.
