Nizamabad (Telangana), 25 Apr: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a road show in support of BJP candidate Arvind Dharmapuri from Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat here, today, and while launching a sharp attack on the Congress and the previous BRS Government in Telangana, asserted that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India is on the path of becoming a developed country. He also accused the previous BRS and the current Congress government in Telangana of openly indulging in appeasement politics, nepotism and corruption. Dhami said that the BRS government had come to power in Telangana through deceit. The Congress government is also immersed in corruption, nepotism and appeasement, he added.
Dhami asserted that the BJP government led by him has taken strict action against land jihad in Uttarakhand. As a result, over about five hundred acres of land has been freed from encroachment. Not only this, the BJP government in Uttarakhand has also enforced a strict anti-riot law, under which compensation and losses will now be recovered from those who instigate the riots. He also mentioned the Uttarakhand anti-conversion law in his address. Dhami said that his government has also taken strict steps against forced mass religious conversion in Uttarakhand.
He said that, under the leadership of PM Modi, the BJP government is working determinedly towards making India strong and developed, while on the other hand, the leaders of Congress and BRS are representatives of appeasement, corruption, nepotism and those who loot the public. He said that Congress has committed a huge betrayal of Telangana since the time of independence. On one side, there is the Congress in power, which has always worked to create corruption in the country. If it is said in other words, Congress is the root cause of corruption in the country.
He said that to put the country in strong hands, it is necessary that Narendra Modi be handed over the reins as PM for the third time. The farmers of Telangana gave a grand welcome to Chief Minister Dhami by presenting him the symbol of a plough. Pushkar added that the Prime Minister has great attachment for Uttarakhand and Telangana. Devotees from all over the country come to the Char Dham – Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri – in Uttarakhand. Telangana is also divine land of the gods.
The CM claimed that India is now moving forward in one thread from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from East to West, from North to South. Now under Modi rule, the soldiers engaged in protecting the country on the border are responding to bullets with shells and cannons. Congress has only been doing appeasement politics for 60 years. The BJP government of Uttarakhand has brought UCC (Uniform Civil Code) law for the first time in the country. By including the Muslim personal law issue in its manifesto to benefit a particular section of the society, Congress is just doing vote bank politics.
The CM also launched a direct attack on former Prime Ministers PV Narsimha Rao and Manmohan Singh and said that appeasement politics was done by both of them to benefit a particular section of society. Commenting on Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, Dhami said that the country does not want to hear her mother’s story. Modi is considering 140 crore people as his family and dedicating every moment to the country; 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the past 10 years.
