Tula’s International School inaugurates Archery & Horse-Riding Arena

Dehradun, 17 Mar: Tula’s International School marked a milestone in its pursuit of sporting excellence with the inauguration of its Archery & Horse-Riding Arena, here, today. Present was Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Raunak Jain, Vice Chairman of Tula’s Group; Dr Raghav Garg, Vice Presidentm Technology, Tula’s Institute; and Raman Koushal, Headmaster of Tula’s International School.
The programme began with felicitation of the Chief Guest, followed by the official inauguration of the arena. The ceremony featured a horse-riding and archery demonstration, a welcome song, and a dance performance by the students.
The Chief Guest, along with Raunak Jain, Dr Raghav Garg, and Raman Koushal, felicitated the school’s dedicated coaches including Sachin Vedan, Aradhaya Valia, Deepak Rawat, Rahul Sethwal and Manish Raghubanshi for their guidance and commitment to nurturing young talent. Outstanding student achievers were also honoured, including Prashuk Jain and Burhan for horse riding, and Mayank Gautam and Viraaj for archery, in recognition of their excellence in sports.
In his address, Saurabh Bahuguna underscored the transformative power of sports in shaping students’ character. He highlighted that failure is a stepping stone to success and encouraged students to explore the vast opportunities available in sports and cultural activities. He also emphasised the importance of recognising and nurturing students’ talents to help them achieve their full potential.
Vice Chairman Raunak Jain reaffirmed the school’s commitment to holistic education and expressed gratitude to all contributors, marking the event as a pivotal step in the school’s journey toward sporting excellence.
The event was also attended by Vijay Kumar Upadhyay, Registrar of Tula’s Institute, and Sandeep Vijay, Director of Tula’s Institute, among other distinguished guests.
