U-14 Tennis Tournament concludes at SJA

DEHRADUN, 24 Mar: The Under–14 All India National Ranking Tennis Tournament (Boys & Girls) concluded today at St Joseph’s Tennis Academy, here. Players from various states, including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttarakhand participated in the tournament.
The Chief Guest on the concluding day of the tournament was Bro Babu Varghese (Principal, SJA).
In the Boys (Under-14) Singles Finals, Tejesh Sahoo (UK) defeated Naman Chaudhary (UK), 4-6 , 6-4, 6-2. In the Boys (Under – 14) Doubles Finals, Tejesh Sahoo (UK) and Naman Chaudhary (UK) defeated Amrit Dhankar (UK) and Riyan Dutta (UK) by 6-2, 6-4. In the Girls (Under-14) Singles (Finals), Sirjan Kohli (UK) defeated Jaya Kapoor (UK) 6-2, 6-4. In the Girls (Under-14) Doubles (Finals), Sirjan Kohli (UK) and Katyaini Rawat (UK) defeated Maira Gupta (UK) and Ira Jha (UK), 6-0, 6-2.
The tournament was conducted in the presence of Tournament Director Rajiv Yadav and Pradeep Pant. The referees were Uttkarsh, Sonu Khan and Monish.
