Uttaranchal Yuva Fest concludes with King’s blazing performance

Dehradun, 7 May: The three-day Yuva Fest organised by Uttaranchal University concluded today with a blazing performance by the famous rapper and singer, Arpan Kumar Chandel, popularly known as King or King Rocco. It is known that this is King’s first performance in any university of Uttarakhand. King, who is famous for his simplicity, wit and amazing energy, had an even more blazing entry than his performance. The number of his fans who reached the university campus to listen to King broke all the old records today. After the programme venue was full, students were seen dancing and enjoying on the streets of the campus as well.

As soon as King started singing ‘Mann Meri Jaan’, the students started jumping with joy. Along with this, the entire campus danced to the songs ‘Tu Aake Dekh Le’ and ‘Oops’. He also sang some songs from his blockbuster album along with ‘Gumshuda’. King’s non-stop performance brought life to the Yuva Fest. The youth kept dancing and matching rhythm with the King for hours.

University President Jitendra Joshi said that, while the annual fest of Uttaranchal University gives the students an opportunity to showcase their talent, on the other hand, it entertains the students by inviting famous celebrities from the field of song and dance as per the demand of the youth. He praised the entire organising committee including the Dean, Student Affairs, and Culture Head for organising Yuva Fest 2025.

Chairman of the Uttaranchal Yuva Fest 2025 and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Rajesh Bahuguna said that Yuva Fest 2025 was a unique blend of traditional and modern culture. Students from all the states of the country studying in the university got an opportunity to represent their state and foreign students got an opportunity to represent their country. Thousands of Uttaranchal University students became witnesses of Mini India. He said that Yuva Fest 2025 left unforgettable memories.

On this occasion, Vice President of the University Governing Committee Anuradha Joshi, Vice President Ankita Joshi, Vice Chancellor Prof Dharam Buddhi, Executive Director Dr Abhishek Joshi, DSW Prof Shravan Kumar, Dr Amit Bhatt and Prof Rita Rautela along with all the Deans, Directors, Principals, HODs, teachers, employees and a large number of students were present.
