Dehradun, 23 Jul: The officers and the employees of the Uttarakhand Vigilance Directorate carried out a tree plantation drive today in the office premises following the Chief Minister’s call of ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. The plantation drive has been carried to mark the occasion of Harela festival.
Following the extensive plantation programme today, Director, Vigilance, Uttarakhand, V Murugesan also addressed a press conference, whereby he urged the people of the state to join the Harela fortnight by planting more trees and contributing to making Uttarakhand a green state.
During the interaction, the Director also highlighted the achievements of the Vigilance Directorate in 2026 and appealed to the public to actively participate in curbing corruption. He further requested the citizens to register complaints on the Vigilance helpline number 1064 to ensure transparency and accountability in governance.
