Dehradun, 24 Dec: In the light of the global pandemic, Christmas was celebrated virtually by the young scholars of Utopia Primary School, Dalanwala. Though the outbreak has reached its peak, the faculty of the institution displayed exemplary enthusiasm. From melody preparations to welcoming Santa, today, everything was well-planned and in order. Utopia Primary School declared the special day a holiday for their students.
The twin virtual background of the staff and the dress code (red) was a commendable plan to match the theme. The programme was led by Naba by showing a short video, ‘The Night before Christmas’, and playing two games in which the capabilities of students were appreciated. They were asked to recognise their friends’ faces behind the Santa template.
Carols were also sung by the vocalist of Utopia. Welcoming Santa was a delight for the students and they witnessed the live chat in which Santa answered every question posed by the minors.
