Dehradun, 21 Apr: The Dehradun District Information officials bid an affectionate farewell to Assistant Director and District Information Officer (DIO) Badri Chand Negi on his transfer to the Directorate of Information in Dehradun. The ceremony, held today, was marked by warmth and respect as colleagues and officials lauded his contribution and extended best wishes for his future endeavours.
It may be recalled that Negi had assumed charge as District Information Officer of Dehradun on 3 January 2022. The district information officials asserted that over nearly four years, Negi had discharged his responsibilities with dedication, commitment and efficiency, giving a new direction to departmental work. His style of functioning reflected discipline, transparency and sensitivity, while his leadership infused fresh energy into the information system and public relations activities. He strengthened team spirit and nurtured a coordinated and vibrant work culture. His ability to turn challenges into opportunities and his positive outlook established him as a capable administrator and a source of inspiration.
During the farewell, officials and staff recalled his guidance and affection, describing them as memorable. He was honoured with a bouquet and a memento as a token of appreciation. The ceremony concluded with collective wishes for his good health, successful career and continued progress in his new responsibilities.
