Dehradun, 19 Jul: Leader of the Opposition Yashpal Arya paid a courtesy call, today, on former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri (Retd) at his residence here.
On the occasion, Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, daughter of BC Khanduri, also welcomed Yashpal Arya.
During this meeting, Arya inquired about the health of the former Chief Minister. Khanduri discussed with Yashpal Arya various issues related to the state. Both the leaders recalled their old experiences.
There were also talks between the Leader of the Opposition and the Speaker of the Assembly on various issues related to the development of the state.
