Dehradun, 10 Sep: On a complaint submitted by Assistant Inspector General of Registration, a fresh case has been registered against alleged land mafia Rajiv Dubey and others in Raipur police station for fraudulently selling property worth crores of rupees of Golden Forest in Raipur police station area. This is the fourth such case filed for land fraud related to Golden Forest Land. The case was registered on Sunday evening with Raipur police station.
Sources added that Assistant Inspector General of Registration Sandeep Srivastava has lodged a complaint that on 27 February 2014, SIT had received a complaint through email that the land of village Asthal in Raipur was sold by Rajiv Dubey (resident of Sevak Ashram, Dehradun) to Golden Forest of India Company in the year 1995. In the year 2016, Rajiv Dubey, along with the original account holder of the land Surendra Singh (resident of Asthal village in Raipur), sold this land to some other people thus committing land fraud worth crores of rupees.
When the SIT examined the documents, it was found that the registration of the sale deed of the land was registered in the Sub Registrar Office Dehradun on 25 February 2016. Just like many other recently revealed cases of land frauds in Dehradun, the revenue records have been found to be tampered with in this case also. In the revenue records, the name of Surendra Singh has been removed from the land and the name of the buyer Poonam Devi resident of Asthal village has been entered. After investigating the entire matter, the SIT submitted the report to the Revenue Department. Following this, a case has been registered against Rajiv Dubey and Surendra Singh in Raipur police station.
It may also be recalled that a case was registered against 6 people in Raipur police station on 8 September on the charge of selling the land of Golden Forest. Rajiv Dubey, Vinay Saxena, Ravindra Singh Negi, Sanjay, Renu Pandey and Arun Kumar were named in this particular case. It is alleged that Rajiv Dubey and other accused have sold the land without the permission of Golden Forest Company. The SIT investigation has revealed that, in the year 1995, land Khasra number 27 and 28 total area 2,000 square feet Amwala Tarla Pargana Parvadun was registered in the Sub Registrar-2 office. After registration of this agreement, Rajiv Dubey was given power of attorney supposedly authorised to sell the land. This agreement and the Power of Attorney are registered in the office of Sub Registrar First Dehradun.
In this case, Raipur police station in-charge Pradeep Negi has shared that the SIT investigation has revealed that despite not having the right to sell the land and not being the owner, the accused have done a fraudulent deal of the land. This is the fourth case registered against Rajiv Dubey in the Golden Forest land case, of which two cases were registered against Rajiv Dubey in Mussoorie.
