Dehradun, 16 May: Group artists of International Behavioral Art Festival (IBAF) presented their performing arts from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Doon Library and Research Centre, here, today. More than twenty artists presented their performing arts. The art was innovative, strange and surprising in many ways, which was highly appreciated by the people present. Nicholas Hofland introduced the International Behavioral Art Festival, the Hexy Dexy Box, and the performing arts group before the artists performed.

In 2018, Hexxyduxxybox embarked on its journey into International Behavioral Art with two members, aiming to raise mass awareness about this significant art form. Encouraged by its success, it celebrated the 1st event in Delhi, marking a pivotal moment. With positive feedback, it expanded across India, spreading art and cultural awareness. The International Behavioral Art Festival (IBAF) has been showcasing live body art and collaborative projects globally since 2020, serving as an archival hub for preserving significant works. Fostering an inclusive community, IBAF promotes innovation and welcomes emerging talents. Through events across India, it encourages cultural exchange and dialogue among artists and audiences. A core objective of IBAF is to inspire artists to leverage their creativity to address pressing ecological and human rights issues. By integrating themes of environmental sustainability and social justice into their artwork, participating artists aim to raise awareness and stimulate action among audiences.

IBAF engages viewers in discussions on critical issues through artistic interventions, fostering collective responsibility and proactive engagement. It serves as a catalyst for positive social change and promotes global collaboration. Additionally, IBAF promotes simplicity, creativity, and community engagement in behavioral art, welcoming experienced artists from all genres and genders.

HEXXYDUXXYBOX, is a collective catalyst assembly for head-to-head interactions, collaborations and creative gossip, with the spirit of a gathering or community building in a metro-city. It likes to play with nonsensical form of verbal expression of artwork as performance, for social justice. It made an approach of sensible gambol of behavioural/ performance art in aesthetic diaspora. Connecting the widespread artist-diasporas with behavioural approach as social practice is its objective. HEXXYDUXXY Box fosters dialogue on gender identity, bias, and human rights violations, aiming to break silences and promote diversity. It also addresses global warming, advocating for ecological awareness and human rights.

On this occasion, Nicholas Hofland, Biju Negi, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, Sunder Singh Bisht and many artists, writers, literature lovers, social workers, intellectuals, library members and a large number of young readers were present in the auditorium.
