New Delhi, 26 Jun: Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal today paid a courtesy call on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in the national capital. During the meeting, the two leaders held detailed discussions on various contemporary and public interest issues concerning the state of Uttarakhand.
On this occasion, Subodh Uniyal said that Uttarakhand, the land of valour and sacrifice, has always enjoyed the special affection and deep attachment of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, which has consistently benefitted the state. He appreciated the Defence Minister’s commitment towards the development of Uttarakhand, its strategic importance and the strengthening of border areas.
Uniyal added that the continuous support of the Central Government on matters related to the progress and security of Uttarakhand is providing a new direction to the state’s development.
Uniyal also expressed gratitude to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for his cooperation, guidance and continued support towards Uttarakhand.
