DEHRADUN, 4 Jul: Official sources have claimed that on the occasion of the Uttarakhand government completing five years under the leadership of Pushkar Singh Dhami, the hashtag #DhamiKe5Saal became the number one political trend across the country. On platform X, the hashtag reached the top national position, reflecting Dhami’s leadership, the State government’s performance and the widespread support of the people according to the government.
The government asserts that over the past five years, Uttarakhand has witnessed several historic decisions that created a new identity at the national level. From becoming the first state to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) to introducing a stringent anti-cheating law, enacting an anti-conversion law, strengthening land legislation, abolishing the madrasa board and ensuring transparent recruitment, the state set new benchmarks of governance and established itself as a model of good administration.
During this period, significant progress was achieved in Char Dham Yatra, tourism, road, rail and air connectivity, investment, employment, women’s empowerment, border area development and infrastructure. Thousands of youths secured opportunities in government services through transparent recruitment, while numerous schemes for women, farmers, soldiers and the poor were effectively implemented.
The BJP and the government claim that the number one trend of #DhamiKe5Saal on social media is not merely as a digital campaign but a symbol of public trust and participation. Thousands of people shared posts, videos, graphics and messages highlighting the development works carried out under Dhami’s leadership.
