FDP at Graphic Era

DEHRADUN, 4 July: An expert at Graphic Era said that human values are the most effective means of bringing positive change in an individual’s life while fostering a sensitive, responsible, and humane outlook towards society.
A three days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organized at Graphic Era Deemed University to integrate education with human values. Addressing the valedictory session as the Chief Guest, Pro Chancellor at Graphic Era deemed University, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma said that human values are the strong thread that binds society and the world together in unity. He emphasized that human values should not remain confined to books but should become an integral part of our daily lives.
AICTE Resource Person Dr Himanshu Kumar Rai said that self-awareness, self-exploration and self-evaluation are the first steps towards true personal development. He explained that when individuals learn to understand themselves correctly, they are able to achieve balance in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.
The FDP was jointly organized by the Universal Human Values (UHV) Cell of Graphic Era Deemed University and AICTE. The programme was attended by Pro VC Dr. Santosh S. Saraf, Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, University’s UHV Cell Coordinator Dr. Richa Thapliyal along with Dr. Priyanka Rai and Kunwar Deep Narayan from AICTE, Dr AS Sukla, Dr Divya Venugopal, Dr DP Singh, Dr. Chandra Kishore, Dr. Anurag Vidyarthi, and other faculty members.
