Dehradun, 15 Oct: First Lady Gurmeet Kaur celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy alongside the women of the Lok Bhavan family at Lok Bhavan on Thursday. On the occasion, the women participated in traditional prayers and rituals and shared the festive joy with one another.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurmeet Kaur said that the time spent at Lok Bhavan had been pleasant and memorable for her. During this period, several programmes had been organised with the women on various festivals and special occasions, with everyone participating enthusiastically and extending mutual support. These gatherings provided opportunities for everyone to come closer, share their experiences and strengthen bonds with the warmth and affection of a family.
She said that organising various programmes together with the women of the Lok Bhavan family had been a special experience for her. Celebrating festivals together strengthens mutual relationships and fosters a spirit of sharing one another’s joys and sorrows.
