Dehradun, 26 Mar: Now underway, the Purple Fire Women’s Car Rally continues its thrilling journey from Delhi to Dehradun and Jim Corbett National Park.
As the rally navigates the scenic route, it champions two important causes. First, Breast Cancer Awareness through the dissemination of vital information about prevention and early detection, the rally underscores the importance of women’s health and the potential impact of early intervention. Second, Women’s Civic Participation – the rally serves as a powerful symbol of women’s empowerment, encouraging participants and supporters to make their voices heard in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
As part of the ongoing Purple Fire Women’s Car Rally, an important evening dedicated to breast cancer awareness, titled “We Can Defeat Breast Cancer”, will be held at the Auditorium of the Raj Bhawan in Doon on 29 March.
The event has been organised by Dr (Mrs) Ramesh Sarin and Dr (Col) CS Pant, Chairpersons, Forum for Breast Cancer Protection, and Brig Harinder Pal Singh Bedi, Director, Purple Fire Women’s Car Rally.
Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) will be present on the occasion. He will flag off the next leg of the rally.
