Narendra Nagar, 28 Aug: A meeting was held at the tehsil auditorium in Narendranagar and chaired by Forest Minister and local Narendra Nagar MLA Subodh Uniyal, regarding the forthcoming Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair. Participating in the deliberations, Subodh Uniyal reviewed the blueprint of various programmes related to the fair, along with the security measures and other arrangements being undertaken by the administration.
Uniyal directed the officials concerned and the public representatives to ensure that the fair is organised on a grand scale, as is customary each year, so that devotees and tourists may participate in a safe and accessible environment.
Subodh Uniyal observed that the Kunjapuri Fair is not merely a symbol of religious faith but also an important medium to promote regional tourism and accelerate local development, which is why people of the region eagerly await it every year. He prayed that this festival of enthusiasm, devotion and joy brings good fortune to the people of the region annually, and expressed the hope that the blessings of Maa Kunjapuri would continue to remain with everyone.
