Dehradun, 30 Jan: Students at Graphic Era showcased their views and logical reasoning on various subjects, here, today. Rudrakshi Patni secured first position with an outstanding presentation.
The debate competition, titled Vitark 3.0, was organised today at Graphic Era Deemed University. A total of 84 students from Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University participated in the event. The participants presented their arguments on a wide range of social, contemporary, and academic topics, including Artificial Intelligence, freedom of expression on social media, sports, society, and culture, demonstrating their logical skills and effective articulation.
The judges evaluated the participants based on logical thinking, depth of understanding on the subject, effective communication style, and overall presentation.
In the competition, Rudrakshi Patni of Psychology, second semester, secured first place, while Sahil Thapa of HM, sixth semester, stood second, and Sanskriti Raj of Biotech, second semester, achieved third place.
The debate competition was organised by the Debating Society of Graphic Era Deemed University. Dr Suman Naithani, Dr Gaurav Dimri, Neha Pandey, faculty coordinator Dr Bharti Sharma, Dr Shahbaaz Begum, and students were present at the event.
