Dehradun, 19 Jan: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Radha Raturi today directed an effective plan and action to complete the target of grounding of the MOU signed under the Housing Sector at the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit as soon as possible. In the meeting held in this regard at the Secretariat here today, ACS Raturi instructed the Housing Department to regularly upload the progress of grounding of the MoU on the portal of Investors Summit.
She also instructed that the officers concerned should be in regular touch with the major investors and should continuously follow up the grounding of the MOU. Along with this, online monitoring of the progress of all grounding should also be done from the higher level. It was reiterated during the meeting that action has been taken on a total of 187 MoU proposals (Rs 45,291 crores) under the Housing Department, in which the grounding of 56 MoUs in Category A category (Rs 4512 crores) has been targeted to be completed by February 15, 2014. Apart from this, instructions have been given to complete the action on 108 MoUs (Rs 13335 crores) in Category B and C category in the next 6 months.
Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey, SN Pandey and other officials of the Industries Department were present in the meeting.
