RISHIKESH, 27 Apr: Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is presently touring Uttarakhand and he was in Rishikesh. Here he posted a video message, in which he lauded the arrangements made for the Char Dham Yatra. Shetty said he would certainly undertake the pilgrimage again this year. Shetty observed that while it is often heard that travellers face difficulties due to traffic congestion and crowding, his own experience has been entirely different. During his stay in Rishikesh, he praised the police and the overall management, describing the arrangements as commendable.
He also appreciated the efforts of Uttarakhand Police and the local administration, noting that the management is highly effective and well-organised. He particularly highlighted the arrangements in Rishikesh, stating that despite the intense heat and heavy influx of pilgrims, visitors are not facing any inconvenience. The actor said his experience during the Char Dham Yatra in Rishikesh is very positive and he is impressed with the arrangements. He expressed his wish to undertake the pilgrimage again in the future, making it clear that the improved management and administrative efforts are making the Char Dham Yatra smoother and more convenient for devotees.
Shetty is accompanied by his wife Mana Shetty during his current visit to Rishikesh. Together they also participated in the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ghat and offered prayers and sought blessings of the river goddess.
The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand began this year on 19 April. A large number of devotees are arriving at the shrines, and in just nine days more than 2.5 lakh pilgrims have had darshan. The police and administration claim to be fully engaged in ensuring that the devotees do not face any difficulty during the pilgrimage.
