Dehradun, 28 Mar: BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt has expressed his gratitude to the representatives of various countries and top organisations for reaching Uttarakhand for the G-20 Summit. Wishing all the success to the event, he expressed the hope that this golden opportunity would help in establishing a new identity for Uttarakhand in the world.

Bhatt said that the state has the opportunity to introduce the whole world to the state’s rich cultural heritage, tourism and biodiversity and to its local products so that they can get national and international recognition from this event.

The seriousness of the conference can be gauged from the fact that after being hosted, arrangements for the event were made by holding several meetings. Along with this, a provision of Rs 100 crores has also been made for the event.

Bhatt said the brainstorming in these meetings will lead to concrete and long-term solutions to the problems and issues related to environment, finance and life, rapid inclusive resilient development, technological change and digital public infrastructure and greater participation of women in development. He also expressed gratitude to the member countries of G-20, as well as the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Health Organisation, World Trade Organisation, many top organisations and representatives of friendly countries for coming to the holy land of Devbhoomi
