Dehradun, 27 Sep: BJP‘s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan today welcomed the announcement made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on a strict land law and laws on domicile. In a statement issued today, Chauhan claimed that only the Dhami government can resolve such contentious issues like land laws and domicile in the state. He expressed hope that soon a very appropriate law in this regard will be enforced in the state and claimed that BJP Government is very sensitive towards public sentiments and takes action in accordance with the people’s expectations. Chauhan also expressed gratitude to the CM on behalf of the people of the state for this announcement.
The BJP leader claimed that it has again been seen that BJP‘s words and deeds are the same. BJP has kept its promise to the public even in the past by making Gairsain the summer capital of the state. CM Dhami has taken many big decisions such as relating to anti cheating laws and as a result, now competitive examinations are being conducted in a totally fair and transparent manner. Similarly, the government has also come up with a strong law against mass and forced conversions.
Chauhan claimed that the CM has also ensured strict action against those who try to endanger the culture and identity by changing the demography of the state. For this, a verification campaign is being run and at the same time the campaign against illegal encroachment is also underway at full pace. The conspiracy to erase the geographical and cultural identity of the state will not be tolerated, he asserted.
The BJP’s state media in-charge also asserted that the Dhami government is sensitive to this demand of the youth and women agitating over the land laws and this issue will soon be resolved now. Strict land laws of the state will come into existence and the water, forest and land resources of the state will be secured and safe. He said that the CM has also assured to test the circumstances arising due to land purchase and sale from time to time, which is a welcome move and is in the interest of the state.
Chauhan asserted that the Congress has been uncomfortable with CM Dhami’s rapid decisions in public interest and has been raising questions on issues like land laws and domicile or demographic change. The Congress in reality has nothing to do with either the cultural preservation of the state nor demographic change but it is merely struggling for power. On the other hand, Dhami government is taking the state ahead in development and employment generation and in addressing the concerns related to the common people.
