DEHRADUN, 31 Jan: Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik, today, presided over a meeting of the Uttarakhand Housing and Development Authority Board, at which some important decisions were taken.
It was decided that two finance proposals having been received for the Rudrapur Awas Yojana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, in addition the rates from other institutions of the state government also needed to be obtained. The proposal regarding the re-appropriation of Rs 14 lakh for the budget of the board was accepted and it was also decided that four authorities – MDDA, HRDA, SADA and District Level Authority, Nainital, would give 10 per cent contribution from their income to the Uttarakhand Housing and Development Authority.
It was agreed to take a decision within a week regarding the bid proposals that had been received for the online map approval system in District Level Authorities. It was also stated that the Committee constituted regarding number of workers should submit its report within a week.
Additional Secretary Sunil Panthri, Joint Chief Administrator Banshidhar Tiwari and Finance Controller PC Khare are members of the Committee. This committee will decide on the requirement of workers in the District Level Authorities. It was also said at the meeting that necessary workers could be obtained on deputation. Requisition for other posts ought to be sent to the Public Service Commission.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, Housing, Nitesh Jha, Additional Secretary, Finance, LM Pant, Additional Secretary, Planning, VS Manral, Joint Chief Administrator Banshidhar Tiwari, Chief Engineer NS Rawat, Executive Engineer Anil Tyagi and Programme Manager Kailash Pandey.
