Uttarakhand Government has officially received the information that the important Jamrani dam project has been approved by the Public Investment Board (PIB) to be included in the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. This approval has been granted on the request of the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who had urged the Union Government to include the Jamrani dam project under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. In this regard, the CM had also spoken to the Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. This proposal had been submitted in the meeting of the Screening Committee constituted by the Ministry of Jal Shakti. Now the Public Investment Board of the Ministry of Finance has given approval to include it in the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana.
