Dehradun, 25 Mar: District Magistrate Nainital Dhiraj Singh Garbyal today informed Garhwal Post that the preparations for the upcoming G-20 Summit of Principal Scientific Advisors in Ramnagar have been completed. The District Administration of Nainital district has been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the arrangements for the Summit.
Garbyal informed that around 30 km of roads have been repaired, more than 685 electric poles have been repaired or shifted as per the need for the meet. He also informed that the delegates will arrive in Rudrapur on 28 March and after a two hour rest they will proceed to Ramnagar. The delegates will be put up at Hotel Taj in Ramnagar where they will be hosted by the Principal Scientific Advisor to Government of India for dinner. On 29 March, the summit will be held and this will be followed by around 40 minutes of cultural programmes and a Gala Dinner hosted by the state government. During the summit, local exhibits will also be displayed and many local products will be showcased. A press briefing will also be held on 29 March evening. On the morning of 30 March, the delegates will be taken on a wildlife tour in Corbett National Park which will be the culminating event of the Summit.
