Dehradun, 20 Dec: A Christmas celebration was held at Carman School, Dalanwala, today. On this occasion, the children of the junior school sang the carol, “Jashn Manao, Jashn Manao”. The middle school children presented the story of the birth of Lord Jesus in four phases by the four houses of the school. Emmanuel House won the first prize for its performance.
The students of the senior school sang the carol, “Gloria in Excelsis Deo”, to commemorate the birth of Jesus. On this occasion, the teachers of the four houses of the school sang a song and the Ivy House won the first place by singing the carol “It’s Christmas It’s Christmas”. Aubry House won second place by singing the carol, “Joy of the World”.
The Judge for the Inter House Staff Carol Competition was Shilpa Arora, the owner of Book World Dehradun. In the end, the arrival of Santa at the programme created an atmosphere of great joy among the children. Santa gave gifts to the children, which made them very happy.
Present on this occasion were GIG Mann, Director, Carman School, Principal Susan Mann, guests, students and staff of the school.
