Dehradun, 10 Oct: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a ‘Three-Pillars and Nine-Point Strategy Programme’ to ensure greater balance between the state’s economy and ecology. Under his guidance, the Planning Department has developed strategies focusing on three pillars: ‘Community Empowerment Campaign’, ‘Innovation and Technology Campaign’ and ‘Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign’.
The CM emphasised on the need for everyone’s contribution to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. He claimed that the state government is paying special attention to environmental balance alongside development. Dhami urged all departments to work swiftly on the newly launched ‘Three-Pillars and Nine-Point Strategy Programme’. He called on all departments to take a pledge during the auspicious Navratri festival to work towards ensuring greater balance between the state’s economy and ecology.
The government has further claimed that, for each pillar, a three-point strategy has been devised. The Community Empowerment Campaign includes reviving traditional practices, promoting behavioural change for proper consumption, and enhancing youth skills. The Innovation and Technology Campaign focuses on promoting green technology, providing technology-based quick solutions, and adopting a circular economy. The Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign aims to standardise green practices, participate in carbon credit initiatives, and strategise bridge funding for sustainable projects.
