DEHRADUN, 6 Feb: Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu held a meeting with senior government and departmental officials at the Secretariat here today and issued instructions on making the ACRs of all the employees of the state online. He said that non-availability of ACRs had been a major reason for delay in the promotion of state employees. Employees doing good work were also often denied promotion due to non-availability of ACR or any other reason, due to which frustration was bound to creep in and this was bound to affect the work efficiency of the employee concerned. He said that this problem could be avoided by making the ACR process online.
The Chief Secretary has instructed all the departments to make the ACR of their personnel online. He said that this year’s ACR should be done online as well as it should be ensured that the old ACR is scanned and uploaded. In the meeting, top officials of various departments including Secretaries Shailesh Bagoli and Ravinath Raman were present.
