Dehradun, 20 May: A Secretary level Committee meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary (CS) Anand Bardhan, was held at the Secretariat here today. During the meeting, the CS instructed all the secretaries to ensure the implementation of the e-Office system in their respective departments across all the districts in the state.
He commended Pauri district for its effective adoption of the e-Office system and urged other districts, especially Dehradun, Nainital, and Haridwar, to expedite the transition. Stressing the need to improve coordination between government departments and directorates, Bardhan emphasised that a streamlined digital system would enhance administrative efficiency.
Bardhan also instructed all the secretaries to update their departmental websites, ensuring compliance with the new format developed by the ITDA (Information Technology Development Agency). He directed the IT Department to provide technical assistance and training to departmental personnel for e-Office operations and website maintenance, addressing any challenges encountered in daily digital workflows.
Among those present on the occasion included Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Principal Secretary L Fanai, Special Principal Secretary Amit Sinha, Secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Radhika Jha, Nitesh Kumar, Dr BVRC Purushottam, Ravinath Raman, Dr Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Dr R Rajesh Kumar, Dr Neeraj Khairwal, Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, Vinod Kumar Suman, Director General, Agriculture, Ranvir Singh Chauhan, and other senior officials.
