Department Academic Extension Council meeting held at Graphic Era

Dehradun, 21 Dec: In the meeting of the Educational Extension Council of Graphic Era, a discussion was held on linking the Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra with education and management.
Industry experts, consultants and educationists participated in this meeting held at Graphic Era Deemed University. Topics like Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra, Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025, Uttarakhand Educational Tour for NRIs, E-waste were discussed in the meeting. In the meeting, Dr. Girish Lakhera, member of the Educational Extension Council and Head of the Center for Regional Studies of Graphic Era, highlighted the importance of preserving the Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra and the traditions associated with it in the form of documents. Deepak Dobhal, Senior Anchor of Zee Business, suggested making a digital report of folk songs and Jagars of Uttarakhand. Ashish Garg of Eco Group of Society said that to stop electronic waste, old gadgets should be recycled. Prabhu Ritul ji of Akshaya Patra Foundation also expressed his views.
Academic coordinator Dr. Rajesh Tiwari expressed his gratitude in the meeting.
The meeting was organized by the Department of Management Studies. Members of Educational Extension Council Dr Navneet Rawat (HOD of Department of Management Studies), Dr. Neeraj Sharma (Convener), Anil Kumar Mehta of Eco Group Society, Prabhu Janeshwar Das of Akshaya Patra Foundation, Dr Arvind Mohan (Head Finance), Dr Nagendra Sharma (Chair Head Marketing), Dr Ratnakar Mishra (Chair Head-HR), Dr Manu Sharma (Head RDC Cell), Dr Ashulekha Gupta (Head DRC Cell), Captain Rajeshri Thapa (Head GESRC Cell), Dr NS Bohra (Professor Incharge), Kartike Raina, Sonali Dania, Prahlad Singh Adhikari were present in the meeting and NTPC Chair Professor (Dr) Avinash Chandra Joshi also joined the meeting through online medium.
