Dhami visits Sadhvi Ritambhara’s orphanage

MATHURA, 30 Dec: On the second day of his stay in Mathura on Saturday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed Dugdha-Abhishek and worshiped at the famous Govardhan temple. He also prayed for the prosperity of the country and the
State. He also offered prayers for a happy life for everyone around. The Chief Minister said that Govardhan Dham has its own singular identity as the playground of lord Krishna. It is also the centre of faith for crores of people of the country. He said that the entire Braj land has a unique identity of Sanatan Bhakti.
Dhami also visited Vatsalya Gram Orphanage established by Sadhvi Ritambhara and run by Paramshakti Peeth presently. The orphanage provides housing, food, health and education for orphan children and abandoned women.

Dhami said that today this place near Vrindavan city has gained its fame by the name of Vatsalya Gram. The statue of Yashoda and the child Krishna established here is an embodiment of love and inspires the visitors to work for the welfare of the society. He appreciated the efforts of Sadhvi Ritambhara towards setting up and running this orphanage to connect the children and elders with the family tradition and to connect the boys and girls here to their cultural and dharmic roots.
