Dehradun, 5 Aug: A delegation of the Doon Buddhist Committee paid a courtesy call on Mayor Saurabh Thapliyal, today, and extended warm greetings and goodwill.
The delegation presented the Mayor with a traditional scarf and a commemorative cap honouring the 90th birth anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (2025-26), a year dedicated to compassion. The meeting was warm and cordial.
The members of the delegation included Tsering Nurdup Bhotia, Dr Manjari Mehta, Kalsang David, Jay Singh, Kalden Chophel, and Tsering Luding.
