Dehradun, 12 May: In a bid to provide relief to people in remote areas, the district administration is set to organise yet another  large-scale multi-purpose camp on 14 May at Atal Utkrisht Government Inter College, Lakhamandal, Chakrata. Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Savin Bansal, this initiative aims to ensure that government welfare schemes reach citizens directly, resolving their problems on the spot.

Bansal has directed departmental officers concerned to participate in the camp with full preparation, bringing complete details and application forms for various government schemes. He has warned that any negligence in this effort will not be tolerated, as the administration is committed to addressing the needs of the last person in line.

The camp will bring together 24 government departments under one roof to provide essential services such as health check-ups, Ayushman cards, pension applications, certificates from various departments, Kisan Credit Cards, and employment training. The goal is to provide 100 per cent coverage of public welfare schemes, ensuring timely access to benefits.

As part of the government’s priority to improve basic facilities in rural and remote areas, the administration is ensuring that formalities for various schemes are completed on the spot. The district magistrate has emphasised that departmental officers should serve with the fundamental principle of delivering the benefits of government schemes efficiently to the people who need them the most. Strict directions have been issued to ensure that the camp achieves its objective of providing instant solutions to public grievances.
