Dehradun, 14 Nov: Shooters from Ecole Globale International Girls’ School participated in the CBSE National Shooting Championship, 2019-20, and won 7 medals in various categories. The competition was held at SS International School, Kunjpura Road, Karnal, from 8 to 13 November.
Students from the states of Uttarakhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Punjab and Haryana participated in the event.
Ridhi Rajpal won 2 bronze medals in Air Pistol U-19 (individual and team); Devanshi Agarwal, Kirpapreet Kaur and Deepshri Tiwari won 1 bronze medal, each, in 10mtr Air Rifle U-19; Tusitta Rai won 1 bronze medal in Air Pistol U-19 (individual); and Hemangi Govil won 1 bronze medal in Air Pistol U-19 (team).
